Bid requests by text

How tree companies get Show Me Tree Pros bid requests on their phone, and how to stop them.

Last updated October 10, 2026

How to sign up

Text BID to our toll-free number from your cell phone, or tick the text box on the claim form or on your dashboard. Those are the only ways to start: we never text a company that has not asked us to.

Tree companies hear about this keyword from the email we send when a homeowner asks for them by name, from their profile page on this site, and from Show Me Tree Pros staff.

What you get when you sign up

You get this confirmation right away:

Show Me Tree Pros: You’re in. We’ll text you bid requests from homeowners in your area. Your first 3 leads are free; after that, claim your profile at showmetreepros.com/claim to keep them coming. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Terms: showmetreepros.com/terms Privacy: showmetreepros.com/privacy

After that, each text is about one bid request or your account. For example:

Show Me Tree Pros: New bid request - tree removal in Jackson. Sarah, (573) 555-0100. Lead 1 of 3 free. Reply STOP to stop.

How often

Message frequency varies with the number of homeowners asking for bids in your area. Most companies get a few texts a month; a storm week can bring several in a day. Message and data rates may apply.

Stop or get help

Reply STOP at any time and texts end immediately. You get one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and nothing more. Text BID again to rejoin.

Reply HELP for a short message with our contact details, or write to showmetreeleads@gmail.com.

The fine print

Signing up for texts is not a condition of claiming a profile or buying anything. We do not sell or share your mobile number for marketing. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
