For cities, counties and state agencies

Tree contractors with the paperwork already done

Every Government Ready company on Show Me Tree Pros keeps the documents your purchasing office asks for on file with us, checked and current. One request gets you the packet for every qualified company in your county.

What Government Ready means

The paperwork a city, county or state agency asks for before awarding tree work.

  • W-9. A signed IRS Form W-9.
  • Secretary of State registration. A Missouri certificate of good standing dated within the last year.
  • Business license. Your city or county business license.
  • Insurance at government limits. A COI with $1M per occurrence / $2M aggregate general liability, auto and workers' compensation, and an additional-insured endorsement available.
  • E-Verify affidavit. Missouri requires an E-Verify enrollment affidavit on public contracts over $5,000.
  • Prevailing wage acknowledgment (when held). A signed acknowledgment of Missouri's annual wage order for public works.
  • OSHA 10/30 cards (when held). OSHA cards for the crew leads who will be on the job.
  • ISA Certified Arborist or TCIA accreditation (when held). Optional. Agencies often score it.
  • Three references. Three recent commercial or municipal customers with contact details.
  • Other bid documents (when held). Anything else a particular bid asks for: bonding letters, safety plans, equipment lists, prior contracts. Keep them here so the packet is complete.

Behind that, every company is Vetted: the owner’s identity verified from a government ID and Missouri court records reviewed. Documents that expire are renewed or the label comes off. How vetting works.
