Privacy policy

From homeowners: what you put on the bid form. Your name, the job address, what you need done, and the phone number or email you give us.

From tree companies: what you put on the claim form and your dashboard. Your name, email, cell phone, business details, and the documents you upload for checks. Card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store them.

Unclaimed profiles hold only public business information: name, phone, website and address as published by the company itself.

A bid request goes to the tree companies it is addressed to, and to nobody else. Company account details stay with us and the services that run the site: Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Twilio for texts, Supabase for the database and Vercel for hosting; they process data only on our behalf. We do not sell personal information. Mobile phone numbers and text-message opt-in consent are never shared with, sold to, or exchanged with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or any other purpose. Text opt-in consent is used only to send the messages described below.

We text only people who opted in: companies that texted BID to our number or ticked the text box on the claim form, and homeowners who ticked the box on the bid form. Texts are about bid requests and accounts, never advertising. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. Details are on our text message page.

Bid requests are kept so companies and homeowners can look back at them, and as the record of what each side agreed to. Write to showmetreeleads@gmail.com to see what we hold about you or to have it deleted; we keep only what the law or a payment dispute requires.

We use one cookie, to keep a company signed in to its dashboard. There is no advertising tracking on this site.
